Project GLAD® Customized Supports

District leaders interested in implementing Project GLAD®:

Leaders will:

  • Learn how the OCDE Project GLAD® instructional model is designed to support diverse populations of learners.
  • Develop clear understandings about the instructional needs of English learners.
  • Discover the essential components of successful implementation and sustainability of the OCDE Project GLAD® NTC Model.
  • Develop and design an initial implementation plan that aligns district resources and professional development needs with student learning outcomes.

For Districts Needing Follow-Up Supports

Cost:

  • $600 per trainer per day (in-state) + trainer(s') travel expenses
  • $800 per trainer per day (out-of-state) + trainer(s') travel expenses

Project GLAD® trainers and school/district leadership team develop a customized plan for follow-up support. Trainers provide customized follow-up coaching to Project GLAD® NTC trained teachers.

Teachers receive individualized and grade-level team support around Project GLAD® strategies to increase implementation. This differentiated model supports collaboration, modeling, reflection, and goal setting, including classroom modeling, co-teaching, planning sessions, and standards-based lesson and strategy preparation.
