Project GLAD® Trainer Certification

Steps In Developing Trainers In-Training

• STEP 1: Complete Project GLAD® Foundations Training with Agency Trainers and practice applying strategies (6 months minimum).
• STEP 2: Complete and submit the Project GLAD® certification application for interested educators pursuing becoming a trainer (2-4 individuals per team).
• STEP 3: Upon acceptance, attend Project GLAD® trainings with the National Training Center or Regional Training Center, including Advanced 3-Day Research & Theory Workshop and Advanced 5-Day Classroom Demonstration.
• STEP 4: Complete and pass certification requirements by delivering a 2-Day Research & Theory Workshop and 4-Day Classroom Demonstration in their own district of employment with RTC Certifiers present. Upon successful completion, Trainers In-Training gain Agency Trainer status and are sanctioned to provide OCDE Project GLAD® training.
